Note the difference in diets - apparently no whites were locked up on Robben Island.

Mr Guide and me having a conversation - I think we are more or less the same age and I know what he was thinking and he knew what I was thinking  :lol8:  Jokes aside - he was good  :thumleft:   :thumleft:

Will you believe me that I got lost while we were busy with the tour??

Nou ja - my stomach was upside down  ::)   ::) and I asked Mr Guide where the toilets are.  He explained and I left.  When I came back, everybody was gone.  I walked into this passage, but it has a dead end.  Then I walked into the following, the same again.  Ou Bees getting worried, telling LJ that "Pa is weg"

LJ - Ma - calm down.  It is an island and that reduces the possibility that dad is gone with 90%.  Furthermore it is a prison and it reduces the possibility with another 5%.

Later I went to the bus and waited for the rest of the Van Vuuren clan  :lol8:

After the prison they took us on a bus tour which was also very interesting.

+1  :eek7:

en nog n ding

Jy weet verseker dat LJ nie in die hospital omgeruil is nie.

Is 'n lekker report. :thumleft:
Ek verstaan julle kan wel bly wees dat die skipper nie die eiland misgery het nie.

My familie van ver sien soms meer plekke in die kaap as wat ek te siene kry. Eintlik n skande.
Sal nog eendag die taliban eiland toe neem.

:imaposer:  Ek dink toe hy nog in die huis was en swembad elke dag moes skoonmaak het hy nogal gedink hy is omgeruil gewees . . . .

@ Dirtbell - dit werk mos so.  Ander mense kom wys jou wat in jou area aangaan.  Kyk dan nou Dorsland se Tankwa trip - iemand het daar gese dat hul die mooi miskyk.

Dankie vir al die responses sover  :thumleft:  :thumleft:

DAY 5 Wednesday – 2014-12-24

Today the kids surprised us with a tour on the Red Bus in Cape Town.

I can recommend this for any person even if you just sit on the bus and listen to the lady that talks – they give you earphones and you can listen to a tape.  As they pass a certain area, the voice tells you the history of the specific area.  Various languages are available, even some of the foreign languages.

I didn’t try that because of Murphy’s Law – mine would then be stuck on Chinese or something like that….

Being a public holiday, all the museums were closed, and it was decided that we’ll go to Table Mountain later the day.

Again I’ll let the kiekies do the talking

Ok - let's go.

We were first at the bus and went to the top and sat right at the front.
