Ahoy, we are two rookies going to tour across Africa come next year with our motorcycles. We are travelling all along the west coast through countries such as Sierra Leone and Liberia, just to make sure there will be enough excitement along the way. No backup vehicles! We are also trying to lend a hand and we are in the process of getting sponsors to sponsor us per kilometer we travel and these funds will then be distributed to different charities.
There is still a lot of planning and preparation that needs to take place. Our website has just been launched. You can check it out at www.axr.co.za It is a kind of blogging page that we are going to leave posts along the way and update you on where we are and what craziness has happened. You can then also leave comments for us and keep our morals high, especially when we are fed up with eating chickens and vegetables from the markets and missing a goeie braai en brandewyn. Or that good red wine in front of the fireplace...
Also please let us know if you have any advice or know of people/companies that would act as sponsors for us.
