Great Vid, thanks Pleco   :thumleft:

After you spent an hour trying to sort out your spark plugs and half hour trying to help ArchAngel sort out his bike , I had a nice lil peaceful picnic half way up the mountain checking out the awesome view .  :p :p :p

PS Thanks a stack for pitching up and helping me lift the bike so I could ride the bike out . I had to ride it down the mountain to get it going again, such fun .  :ricky: :ricky:

Ps must just add that I have almost never been so glad to see someone. I thought I would spend the night there as there were only two riders behind me and neither of their bikes were working went I left them . :thumleft:

You do have some talent in finding some funny parking spots. I wonder who's bike was more upside down? Your's or BlueBull2007's on the next day!

Lucky for you there was a switch back lower down to pick up through the bossies.  :ricky:

Actually it was just a little fall over  , I see at the same place Kamanya also fell ( on his video )

I took 15 minutes to drag her into the right position , heaved her up and then she fell over again the other way , because of my lack of strength , and because of the incline .  I did it a second time , and she fell again the other way and then a third time again .  The third time she fell into the bushes and try as I could I could not move her. By this time I almost had no more strength left in my body. Thanks Lukas , seeing you appear was the best thing ever !!  :thumleft: :thumleft:

I can see it happening...

What?

And they don't have a clue

Who?

They'll fall in... ( i can't remember how the rest of that Lion King song goes)

Knight in shining armour.

On a KLR?!

Short vid of day 1:

It was peaceful at the back.

Renette could have finished the liaison a lot earlier, but she was kind enough to wait for me. With the sprocket setup I have, the KLR topped out at about 110kph.  :ricky:

I was making the video bigger!

Nice video Plec  :thumleft:

what happened to Gabs in the end  ???

The bugger had to retire!

That was really ******. Especially after all that effort.

He has now found out that his one side choke cable was corroded and stuck. No ways the bike would start once warmed up. And it ran like crap.

After having similar issues a while back, I put a pull pin choke straight onto the KLR's carb. Chucked the cable and lever. Simpler is way better.  :ricky:

Thanks J-Dog for doing that . :thumleft: :thumleft:

Yes Pleco you should have gotten the McGuiver award .

Pleco I think I will do a short RR to document our trials and tribulations in Amageza , there were quite a few . :imaposer:

Awesome pix - does anyone have a time machine cos I want to do Amageza 2012 - ff  :dousing: :'(

Big up to the Father and Son team!!  :thumleft:  During the qualifier I got stuck on a very slippery incline and so did the Father. The Son then tried an alternative route and also got stuck. I helped the Father up the hill and by the time I got myself up the two of them managed to get the Son out of trouble as well. I remember thinking in my state of sheer exhaustion how happy I would be if I am able to tackle such routes at his age. Huge respect!!   :thumleft:
