Race Dog
Today I seemed to be in kak mood. Work was just frustrating me and eventually my asked me when am I going riding again. I thought to myself .. im not really lus, but im not going to have her offer it to me twice. So around 4pm, I lubed the chain.. threw in some juice and headed into a direction.
I thought well mountainboy, Michiel and I took a nice little trip on Saturday, I wanted to loop it again. So I did. But I didnt not keep in mind that the past couple of days, that its been really warm and humid... in return it baked the sand out from underneath the toplayer, creating .. DEAD sand.
Alas.. some pictures.
Not far into the trip about 2km from home..lovely whiteness...innit?
Ran into Eskom with their moerse 12x12 trucks, that made these nice donga's .. almost like riding behind lito @ atlantis .. but still not quite.
3km down the road, I was faced with Blouberghill on the left and obviously Cape Nature.. (they are everywhere) and a lovely hard packed dirt road .... that quickly turned into some sand.
Then I met a couple of lovely ladies.
If you look carefully you can see koeberg and atlantis dunes.
rode back through the back of the bush and eventually ended up a stones throw from zone 7 on the N7 Main road on the Clay quarry
got home after 30 odd km and had a dirty bike
Felt a whole lot better and ready to take over the world again... this is a whole lot cheaper then therapy
