This post is not meant to promote any BMW products, there are jackets out there that will do the same job regarding crash protection, and it is not to suggest to those that choose not to wear atgatt, but look at what this jacket looks like, the wearer fell off on a diesel spill on a corner at 190 kph, the bike was a write off, as well as the jacket and pants he was wearing. He walked away with a minor abrasion on his back where the jacket lifted up, because it was not zipped to his pants, and he had an abrasion on his calf because he was not wearing the correct riding boots.
Although the jacket is pretty wrecked, it is a lot easier to replace than skin.
