So Kreef called for a Atlantis ride and a couple of noobs pitched to try their hand at sand riding.
Help me with the names but as far as I can remenber it went something like this:
Kreef - 650 Dakar
Crispin - 800 GS
Guy on KLR - 650 KLR
Michiel - 650 KLR
Stev0 - Plastic
Andy - Plastic
Kreef's friend - Plastic
Tuareg - 950 KTM
All made it into the dunes, the noobs took the main entrance, some had to be pushed
that last bit but showed great courage. Sadly I never took any pictures of the group but
here's what I have.
Kreef making er' stand.
Tuareg getting suprised by the soft sand and nearly go over the front... Fearless...
A lot of huffing and puffing to get the pig out.
Just to show you how soft the sand can be, very dangerous.
Then I got caught out as well. Landed on my head, outch!
In the meantime the KTM stalled and refused to start. We tried jumping er', thanks for the guys
with the 4x4, but with no results. So they took Tuareg to the road and his wife came to bail him
out with his old Cruiser.
On our way back to the bike we got a bit lost and ended up at the bottom of the bush having to ride up
what felt like an impossible track just to get back to the main dunes.
See Kreef catching his breath as I try to recover my failed attempt.
Finally we got out and helped to load the KTM.
