I fitted a set on a KLR but without doing the sawing bit. It was a bridge too far for me.
Now I'm sitting with a speed control as the throttle lever binds.
What do I need to saw off and how much to get the throttle to pop back when you let it go?
Why does it bind? Is it pressure from the inside of the tube from those expanding rawlbolt type thingies or is it from the side where the "crowbar" comes into the pipe?
