New seal kit is in. Put the carbs on the bike and it started.no throttle cables fitted, so i was throttling on the carb.
Right hand carb is sharp, while the left hand carb has virtually no throttle response at all when the butterfly is opened, just a blip when the valve is closed, but I suspect this is just because the idle jet comes in to play again.
New diaphram is fitted in the this carb. Passages are open and jets are open.
I suspect that the top of the Bing may be leaking where that brass top plug is at the top of the carb, but I think this would make for poor throttle response and not 0 response.
(ps, i did swop carbs around, so it is not spark of valve timing)
I'm out of ideas, but will be sealing the carb top with resin tonight just to rule out as possible problem.
Any other ideas?
