hi guys, so today i bought myself a 2006 dakar, sadly abused by an idiot mechanic and then used by someone with no mechanical empathy at all. owner was in fact a nice guy but certainly no mechanic.
lots of things need repairing but the shock is not working at all, only the spring taking care of bumps, its pretty dangerous, as i drove it from pretoria to alberton i realised why the tyres had worn so badly.
anyway i am busy stripping it down and need a 2nd hand shock or details of someone who can do a rebuild.
also on the list is an aftermarket exhaust and best place to buy sprockets and chain in joburg.
any help would be appreciated.
