...It was such a feeling of freedom, totally in touch with Mother Nature.  The thing that made the biggest impression on me was the  "smell" of the trees and plants along the road. It was overwhelming... 

Amen, Lady Q... Amen.  This is such a great expression of why so many of us ride these bikes, through/to the places we go. Welcome to the complete sensory experience... And as close to touching our wilder heritage (...some wilder than others  :mwink:  ;D  ;D  ;D ) as one gets.

I look forward to meeting you & hubby on a road in the future.
