Hi Everyone
I have a custom SR250 Cafe Scrambler for sale. I've lost interest in the project and haven't done any work on it for a long time. It really doesn't have that much left to do, maybe about eight hours. I've spent about 18-20k on it, lost count somewhere along the lines. The paperwork is in order.
New: Tyres, Hand levers, handlebars, swing arm bushes, steering head bearings, shock (which are terribly hard, look at finding softer units.), centre stand pin, all seals, Carb CV boot and slide, headlamp, tail light strip with indicators, seat custom built, chain, sprockets, cone air filter and I'm sure a whole bunch more stuff, exhaust silencer just can't remember.
I've ridden the bike. It goes quite lekker. I'd like someone who enjoys customs and building to take the boney. I've put a lot of personal time into this and it would be just sad if it weren't finished neatly.
Still to do:
- Fit spring on rear brake lever
- The rear wheel bearing is loose on the outer race. A plan needs to be made here.
- Connect rear LED strip to wiring harness
- Fit speedo. I was in two minds on which way to go here. Analog speedo or something like an Acewell. I'm leaning towards analog. Speedo not provided.
- May need a new clutch at some stage but this is cheap from StartLine.
- Fit front indicators. I have some cheapies I can throw in but personally, I'd get some trick bar end indicators for this build.
