Cape Town trip (solo) - advice / suggestions

Hi,

My wife has let me out for 2 weeks, so I'm off to Cape Town on the 8th December, riding solo and looking for any suggestions / advice on places to stay and attractions along the way.  Staying clear of main routes, but pretty much a tar run.  Current overnight stops include:

Day 1:  Kimberley
Day 2: Augrabies National Park
Day 3: Vredendal
Day 4: Somerset West
Day 5:  George

Then a weeks break with family in George.

Then on to Port Alfred, Lady Grey and Johannesburg.

Looking to include as many scenic routes as possible, such as Route 62, Swartberg pass, etc.

I'll camp where possible, so as not to break the bank on accommodation!
