you know you're in trouble when she asks for orange earrings.

Had a good time with you guys.

Its amazing seeing some of you going from barely being able to stand on  the bike to riding the cones and u-turns like pros. I had a great time. Glad you guys enjoyed the farm so much.

Regards

Daniel Nelson

The farm and training was awesome. That black mud.... Mmmmmm, not so much!  ;D

Will be back to Nelsons Creek, that is for sure.

Twas my third time to Nelson's Creek
the first two times were for weddings and this time for bike training. I enjoyed this time the most but I must admit that the people's fashion sense were better at the weddings.

Great farm with awesome views!
the instructors were very cool too. They didn't behave like sergeant-majors so we did the exercises over and over again not because we were ordered to but because we wanted to.
But I must admit that a full hour riding up and down through cones in the heat really killed my clutch wrist. I actually had to ride away once or twice to get some airflow over the red hot radiator. Kobus almost went on strike ;D

Did you eventually do that wheelie?  ;)

hehe, working on it... APPARENTLY, the best place to practice is a tar road... (mmm, i was hoping for a softer wipe-out area) and APPARENTLY it takes about 2 years to be really good at it... SO, i will be the idiot going 20km/h, dropping throttle and then opening up again in an effort to lift my front wheel on the way to work on the N1 everyday...

APPARENTLY you can also see your g@t trying to do it so just be careful m'kay.

Firstly, thanks to Etienne and the trainers , the day was gr8. I still want to ask Leon something . He took us on all the trails on the farm but I can't remember passing the Nelsons Creek Station, because this morning I could not get out of bed and it feels like a train must have moered over my entire body.
About the training , I learned so much from Leon and my fellow WD . One thing that I learned from Tazz is that you can have to much grip from you handles , so much that you left hand get stuck . Budd, hope that shoulder heels soon .

Bus , looks like you need to update your "ATGATT" by getting a Ballbox.

My day started by my bike being hungry for a days ride.........so hungry it ate my farken hand!!!!!!

Buy her a bike NOW before the fire goes out.

BTW do you still want the helmet for your daughter?

Oohh ja somebody left there black (I think K-way) top on the roof of the Tucson . It must be a Lady's as it is a small.
Laat weet maar

A big thank you to Etienne for organizing this event :laughing4:

was nice to meet new faces, Leon, Daniel and our instructor Wayne - you guys are amazing & SO talented ;D  (sorry for names i may have missed here, too many people to remember).

i enjoyed EVERY moment of the training, it was quite tiring near the end.  This was my first training course and i definately learnt a huge amount.....the cone riding, figure of eights, picking up our bikes, and more -  the outrides we did where we applied what we learnt - invaluable lessons!!!

those dark muddy sections, the off-camber hill with a sharp left.....

hope to be able to do another training course like this again soon, was excellent!
