After 30 years of riding tar/track on sportbikes, I have finally decided to try something new. Got my 1200 Yamaha a few months back and am really enjoying it. I am still sticking mostly to tar, but did have a great ride with my Missus on the back from JHB down to Port Alfred an up the coast to Ballito before heading home over the December holidays. Some gravel was traversed, but I clearly need to do some instruction on "how to ride off road". 
Looking forward to using the Forum to get tips on how to get started and which roads to ride.
