Bringing balance to the characters on the tour is an old friend whom I had the pleasure of touring with many times before.
Peter King or
@PK as he is known on the forum is a philosopher, an adventurer, and a friend. Never one to shy away from a good debate, he has taught me so much over the years.
Peter, like Bart finds himself in the admirable situation where he retired at an early age, and now pursues happiness on two wheels with people sharing the same passion for adventure and friendship.
Pete has helped me before on Quest and on tours and has an intimate knowledge of the workings of our team and how we do things. Much of our strategy has been shaped by his input.
Pete will always offer his assistance and is one of the most caring persons I have ever met.
He loves the Kaokoland and Damaraland and I believe he will be back for many tours there.
Peter used to frequent the desert on a DR650 but has recently acquired a CRF 300L, and I believe he enjoyed the riding on this year's Northern Namibia tour even more because of this bike.
Thanks for making our tours better Pete
