Race Dog
Okay, so the yellow beast of burden and I did our first of many trips, down to the burg. Sadly most of the trip was "Black slab" and a little was dirt based. Fun none the less!!!
Left home at 8am and headed to Villiers for a cuppa coffee!
From there it was off to Warden, where I encountered traditional transportation still in daily use.
Warden has some amazing churches considering the size of th
e "Dorpie"....
The long road, hell on the butt and just damn boring....
Left Warden on route to Harrysmith, from there onwards it was lekker twisties............but before I could enjoy em, I had to take a pic of this "Luner module"...
Table mountain..not!!!
My first attempt at "on the go" pics
From there on I went out via LosKop dam, what a lovely place - stopped for a break and to enjoy the silence.
Little Switzerland - has an international feel to it, yet the resort was not so lekker. Wanted to have another coffee break, but decided to move on rather.
Came across many low level crossings, so decided to take a pic!
Dirt - my first time on it with the bike. Was lovely!
Arrived at the hotel had my meeting then decided to do a little riding, so went yup to Champane castle - very pretty.
On the way back, I decided to go via Van reenens
One happy rider heading for the big smoke.
I loved every minute of this trip.
