The Road Less Travelled is offering a ride through the Eastern Free State in the Memel area this weekend - short notice i know but if you are interested -- Read on,
We will meet at the Villiers one stop on the N3 South bound at 15.00 on Friday afternoon, ride to Memel via some interesting gravel roads, spend Friday night in memel with a good meal and make some new, and catch up with the old, friends.
After breakfast we ride out from Memel on gravel roads through some of the local passes e.g. Normandien, Collings, de Beers etc. spending the day out.
We'll have lunch at a small village restaurant and finish up about 16.00 back in Memel for a braai of the best local beef.
After a more leisurely breakfast on Sunday we'll ride back home via about 60kms of gravel, meeting for the last time at Villiers one stop.
The ride is backed up by a vehicle and trailer.
All this for only R1500 rider and R900 pillion
