Ficksburg Cherry Festival has been on our to-do-list for a while and this year we just bit the bullet and did it. As for the festival itself, won’t really miss it if we never get to go again, but as for the ride, the country side and the people, a definite must-do-again!
We made our way there via Reitz & Clarens, trusty old Griet made it there and back just fine, despite the urban legend of “British Bikes” – after all they must be use to rain!
