Was sorta thinking, where to next?? Most trips I do seem to be to the east or south of GP and it's time to head out west. Got Angola planned for next year Easter, already done the Kalahari and Bots but feel the need for a good December trip.
Someone mentioned Fish River Canyon which sounds pretty cool.
did a search and see there's a few bits and pieces but I'm wondering what the riding itself is like. Is there technical riding there or is it all open sand roads? Are we allowed into the canyon on DS bikes or do we just ride round the top?
Is this a worthwhile trip to take from Gauteng? We'd probably trailer the bikes to near the border and leave the bakkie, etc in SA.
The trip's just a thought at the moment (got Baviaans and Tzaneen in my head as well) but any help in pointing me in the right direction will help. Looking for hard technical riding as opposed to sand roads.
