Pack Dog
I've fitted two 10W Solstice LED spotlights from Katundu to my R1200GS.
The light bar fits neatly beneath the beak just in front of the oil cooler. I used a temporary on/off switch mounted on the handlebar with two cable ties. Later I'm going to install a AutoSwitch - https://www.autoswitch.com/index.php.
I use the LEDs as "daylight running lights" during the day commuting to and from work. The LEDs are bright and very visible. Cars seem to notice the bike earlier and about 50% more vehicles move slightly left to make room to pass than before I fitted them. Definitely a huge improvement in overall visibility.
A few photos
1. Mounting points
2. LED pods mounted below indicators
3. Stock headlight
4. Stock headlight with brights (orange cover)
5. As above with the LEDs on (using the Euro beam)
6. Temporary on/off switch
