This time of the year Knysna does not belong to us anymore and it's hard to find a spot where it is still pure and quiet...but seeing that i've only had the Dakkie for about a week or two, i've decided to take a quick ride from Rheenendal via Phantom Pass to Gouna. From Gouna i went up to Spitskop, and from there out towards De Vlugt, but took a secret left beyond locked gates towards Rheenendal via Hidro, a beautiful circular road...it used to be open, now there's gates everywhere...a perfect little sunday-cruise!
Hidro is a very special place for me and i haven't been there for a while, with all the gates and forestry officials in my way, so it was truly special to be there again...and of course, the first time with my Dakkie!
