Yesterday I had to fill my bike (2006 1200GS) as the fuel warning light had come on and also the "distance to empty" countdown had popped up on the display. I usually fill up way before this happens, but for what ever reason I ran it a bit low this time.
After the attendant filled up the little bars indicating fuel level rose, as they usually do, however the distance to empty count down remained and also the low fuel warning light remained ???. I set of knowing I had filled up but the distance to empy count down continued until it eventually reached "0", and the low fuel warnig remained
. I stopped twice and shut her down, once for about half an hour hopping for a reset, but nothing!
Any advice?
