GPS

I've been looking at getting a GPS, not really for navigating, but more for capturing the route I took, and maybe setting a few waypoints.

Now here is the question, does all GPS's offer the ability to download your tracks?

Does the Garmin Etrex offer the ability to download your track for instance?

Any other advice is welcome.
