Hi Edgy and all the guys from the Kzn bash. Many thanks to the Grahamstown Greyhounds (and they ARE Greyhounds, make no mistake) for allowing us to become 'country members' and to travel with you guys.
MikeDaBike and I had an absolute blast!!!!!!!!
We did 1620 km in 4 days. What a way to test a new bike. I will add  some pics later, maybe after I've caught up on some sleep.

Six of us managed to escape the domestic clutches
Caccus(Craig) loaned my DRZ to give the DS thing a bash, hopefully he enjoyed enough to get himself sorted!
Others were Airborne,Topgun,Throttle Jockey,Noxious and myself. We met up with LanceSa and Mike in Queenstown - but first the fantastic old Balfour pass...

Looking forward to this report with envy as I had to bail out at the last minute

We arrived in Queenstown at about 10 is and tucked into some Steers brekkie after meeting up with LanceSa and Mikedabike.
We were excited about tackling the Baster voetslaan pad at last and were greeted by some spectacular scenery!

I'm too tired to write so I'll just post a teaser for the ride. As can be seen I was a bit one eyed   Later I'll post the story of the bike I found on the internet on Sat, drove to PE on Monday, sorted out the finance & deal on Tuesday, farkled on Wednesday and left on an epic ride on Thursday.
Behold - THE BEAST!!!!! :drif: (I drool over my own bike)

Airborne decided to give a demo of his new name
Throttle Jockeys mechanical skills were put to good use....some Pratleys putty got us on the road again!
