We left on Friday morning for Swellendam, via roads I didn't even know existed. Through to the Breede River and over on the pont. It was a hell of a hot day, but we arrived at the Backpackers in Swellendam and the first beer didn't touch sides.
Saturday we left through Suurbrak, over Gysmanshoek to The Barking Frog in van Wyksdorp then over The Rooiberg pass on to Calitzdorp through Seweweekspoort and back to Ladismith to stay over at Koedoeskloof for the night.
I cannot say enough about Koedoeskloof. We felt absolutely at home and it is great value for money. Thank you once again Eugene and Debi for the lekka burgers and everything else. Please support these good people when you are in the area - www.koedoeskloof.co.za.
Sunday morning we woke up to a bleak morning of drizzle and decided to hit the tar straight home.
Thanks again to Geoff, Bob, Simon, John and Laurie for the fantastic experience.
