Yeah, after many months of waiting it is time for me to do the license test.
It has been recommended that I do not do the test in my own bike. My Honda Varadero XL1000V is big and heavy (although I am very used to it) and the pipes are a bit noisy. It is not clear whether these are within legal limits. I asked Honda the other day and they recommended that I ride till I get stopped and measured. With the vary long waiting periods, I do not want to risk failing due to a too noisy bike.
Is there anybody that can help with a smaller fully legal bike that I can rent on Friday morning 5 September to do my test in Hermanus?? I am thinking TW200, CTX or something similar. Or maybe can anybody recommend a driving school or rental agency where I would be able to find a bike?
I will leave my Vara with you as surety.
Regards
