Yup! They have just been meandering on gravel roads. I am interested to see when they strike the deep sand and getting down Van Zyl's. But, at least their bikes aren't loaded to the T with camping stuff... :lol8:

That photo is to do with something Phillip and I decided to share with the group. I work with people for a living. Some of the technology I use I put to good use between Phillip and I to speed up the understanding of each other as well as how better to work together. Critically, how to disagree efficiently and get to solution quicker. Now tactically this is, on the face of it, not very bright as it seems remove an advantage out team would have. But, this is a flipping long event and it is impossible to finish well without the help of others. There are multiple times a day where small and large favours are required to be given, sometimes at great cost, to get through. An example was our first puncture, Barbara and Charl stopped and without their help, we would have been there in the hot sun and dust a LOT longer. So, I gave a quite 10 minute intro and "how to". it's been fun to spend just a little time with each team subsequently to go into dynamics and some solutions to their unique combination. I am certain it was the right thing to do.
