I did an off road course this week end. One of the techniques taught with a manual transmission bike is to recover yourself when you have encountered a problem half up an incline when off road with poor traction. You stall the bike, switch the engine off and let it run backwards against compression using the clutch. How do you do it on a bike without a clutch?
