I was in Die Hel or Gamkaskloof this weekend , and it was pretty hot slow going , my bikes temperature gauge showed 6 bars , then coming back out of the kloof I got stuck behind some traffic and the gauge went up to seven bars . My question is this , how hot can you reliably ride these bikes without doing them any harm , and can you overheat a air oil cooled motor ? What is the hottest you guys have pushed your 1150's to ?
My bike normally averages between 4-6 bars under normal operating conditions.
