Went on a 7000km road trip across Europe in a car in the summer. Every day kept wishing I was on a bike, so I recently bought myself a BMW F700GS which I am prepping for spring. In the meantime I potter about on my SV650 in the rain and cold.
Retirement is looming - then I intend to cover some serious distances.
Considering getting another GS to keep at my holiday place in ZA.
Also I am the webmaster for https://matjien.com. A bunch of ZA engineers building 500cc two stroke engines, one for a Roof of Africa bike, the other for a land speed record bike.
