Installing KLR progressive springs, how?

Firstly, I did try the search function. Please excuse me if I missed a previous thread on this!

I just got hold of my new progressive forksprings for my KLR!!  :laughing4:  :laughing4:

I want to install them myself, but I'm not shure where the pitfalls are. Also, I'm a bit unclear about how to go about adjusting the damping. Do I just need new oil?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
