I hope the subject line is PC enough!!! [Edit - obviously NOT!]

After getting missed placed on Blazes' newbie ride I managed to find Jules and Li at Cullinan having a bite to eat.
After talking a bit of nonsense as all Dogs do we decided to head on back to PTA via an old Blazes route.

The 4 of us were cruising along nicely, Jules in front, when came up behind this cream VW Fox riding on the right hand side of the road.

Thinking that he was possibly avoiding the corrigations, as he stayed driving there for about a Kilometer, Jules made his way over to the left to over take. Then without warning or indicators this idiot turns left onto a side road. Jules made evry attempt to avoid him without luck. Jules went down in a cloud of dust.

I got there as quick as I could to find Jules with bike just about on him giving the driver some choice words.

After pushing the car out of the way we got Jules' bike up.
Hardly any damage!!! The Fox's both left doors could not open!!!

If you want to play bumper cars on a DS bike, get a KLR!!

1.The broken fox tail light and you can see the skid mark between mine and Li's bike
2.Jules' bike with damage to the brake hose clamp and a slightly bent crash bar
3.Trying to open the Fox's doors hehehe

Besides an adrenalin overload there were no injuries thanks goodness!

Glad there were no injuries.
Only thing tougher than a KLR is the rider, What? :thumleft: :thumleft:

Now I know why they use KLRs in the US army.

In the right hands they can be weapons of war !

Lucky nobody was hurt - whew !

WTF happened to you. this is the last i saw of you on Sunday. You and yellow bike raced past us --2m from us ??? with Silver Luna after you two. Chased her down and got her to turn back :thumleft: But you were INSANE --Full Throttle like a Dog after a Bitch in season chasing that Yellow Bike. Waited a while and then left you to go enjoy your new found mate :peepwall:

Long story. Lets not go there!

If I wasn't in a rustige good mood I would have been at home by 9:30!!!

Anyway nice to see Jules and Li again. Thanks for the parenting advice.

Sorry you got a bit distracted there  and we lost track of you Aquatic ;) - but thanks for looking after me at the rear till HP2 got there :)

Gee Jules - glad you ok though!!

Thanks for taking the pics and posting Aquatic :)

Ja what a kak feeling seeing it coming and not having the time or space to avoid it.
I Saw him starting to turn when I was about 100m away so I managed to slow down a lot but in the end I had to choose between the fence or the car.
Luckily I was pretty much sideways when I hit so my only damage was a big bump on my shin and a sore right foot. I'm limping today but nothing major.
My crash bar wedged in between the front and back door and when I fell over it bent out by about 8cm The small rear brake line bracket on the swing arm was bent in but otherwise no major damage. Its been a week of it for me, I went down last week in Swazi (Ride Report Coming Soon!) when a dog ran into my front wheel, I was doing about 50kph at the time and went down hard, The crash bar saved me there but I lost a rear flicker. Then later the same day I went down on the same side again during a river crossing when I hit a submerged pot hole. Again the crash bar save me. Se with all 3 falls I am looking a little banged up at the moment.

At least I have had my 3 now!

Blazes we decided to late to join your ride and took the Rayton railway road to Cullinan hopping to bump into you guys but it was not to be. Next Time

Jules

PS The look on the 3 occupants faces when I got up screaming abuse was something else, At first they were all agro and said it was my fault but then they saw the other Dogs pull up and the story changed and they apologized, IDIOTS!
