So three years after I traded my 1200GSA for our first pram, the itch of getting back on (street legal) two wheels got the better of me and I collected my new 2nd hand 2009 KLR650 on Friday. Budget was tight so I opted for a smaller bike which is believed to be reliable and affordable to maintain.
Seriously? After reading through all the KLR650 threads on the forum I can kick myself for not doing so before buying the bike - it is really not good marketing info for this bike! Is it as bad as it sounds or I am cr@pping myself for no reason? I mean, what is the point of buying what you thought to be a good deal, and then have to spend thousands on correcting what seams to be design flaws - doohickey, deep hole syndrome, oil burning, substandard suspension front and rear, etc etc?
Please tell me if this sounds worse than it actually is!
