KNEE BRACES-YES OR NO?

Opinions will be appreciated. I am an extreme skinny guy. Minder as net "vel en been"..... virtually "net been". So bone fractures might await me in future. At my age I guess that over protection cannot be viewed as an overkill.... die Oros-mannetjie kannie seer kry nie.
So, should I or should I not invest in decent knee braces? What are the pros & cons?
