"There is no passion to be found playing small - in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living"-Nelson Mandela

Some of us are happily married, but for some of us the only marriage we know is the one to a lady called Adventure (for now at least). She might be your skelmpie, concubine or second wife, but you know exactly who I’m talking about!

In 2010 a lifelong dream started showing signs of realism. What started in our imaginations is now very real and in June 2011 we start off on our journey into Africa.

The four of us will aim our thumping single cylinder weapons in the direction of the source of the blue Nile via Bots, Zimbabwe , Zambia ,Rwanda, a short stint in the Congo, Uganda, Kenya and the height of our journey; Ethiopia. It doesn't end there. We will ride our bikes back through Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique and finally traverse the Swazi Kingdom to get home. Along the way we will embark on all the adventures activities the route offers, submerging ourselves into Africa’s beautiful cultures, landscapes and ambiance. Some of the things on our to do list is, Gorilla watching, white water rafting, bungee jumping, visiting the most active volcano in the world, viewing the great migration possibly in the height of the event, sport fishing the Kenyan coast and Tiger invested waters of Zimbabwe, Zambia and Mozambique.

Now as a group we will put in a focused effort to record this epic event in HD video. We chose smaller bikes in order to do technical terrain and will capture all the action, frills and spills!

Duan Campbell, a passionate adventurer who earns a living by working as a mining Engineer at a Consultancy firm in Sandton Jhb.

Riaan Fourie, currently a student at Stellenbosch University. Riaan gave up his job as n accountant at Cape Storm two years ago and decided he would like to go about getting into the line of sustainable development.

Eddy Prinsloo, a very experienced motorcycle traveler, who has done many long trips, including riding through the Outback of Australia with only his bike for company. Eddy resides in Pietermaritzburg and owns the Bayer franchise in the area.

Pierre Ackerman, JHB businessman and aspiring videographer.
