I am expecting delivery of some Wings silencers soon. There seems to be a lot of different opinions on whether it is necessary to remap the EFI to the Akra map or not?
Even on Advrider I can't find a definintive answer. Some guys say that is is only necessary to do the "15 minute idle trick" and have reported much better fuel consumption after doing this. Others have done the Akra remap and reported shite fuel consumption afterwards?
What say you learned ones?
What does the Akra remap actually do?
Will the EFI not automatically adjust to the new, better breathing cans (after doing the 15 minute idle thing)?
