I am looking for some advice on the condition of the gravel 4 X 2 road (Info maps- Lesotho July 2005 edition) from Thaba Tseka which is about 100 k's east from Mohale dam, to Katse, a distance of 57.1km.Is there any accomodation at Thaba Tseka ?
We will be travelling on 2 1150 GS's, with pillion and luggage.
We have been to both dams. from border post to dam and back again but there is more to see than a day trip and we are hoping to make a round trip of it, Katse to Sani Top chalets and then to Mohale dam using a different route.
There is also a gravel 4 X 2 road fro Thaba Tseka south/east to Mohlanapeng to Taung to Linakeng to Menoaneng pass to Ha Rafolatsane to Sani Top chalets about 150 k's which looks a mean trip but is it feasible.
ps. the tar road to Mohale dam is a must do for every biker, 10 times better than the road to Katse from Caledonspoort, and in much better condition.
Anyone with some advice please
