Not sure whether this post belongs here, but it's about the attribution of articles lifted elsewhere. I could be wrong in the case of WD, but generally speaking, the practice is to post a link to whatever story one wants to repost, and not the article itself. Even a vague attribution doesn't really do the trick in the world of digital media. Besides, why go the trouble of cutting and pasting text and pictures, if a simple copy and paste of the link suffices? It also gets one around any unpleasantness wrt plagiarism. And it gives credit to who wrote it, and who published it.
