LRP in my Vstrom

Does anyone know if LRP petrol will have an effect on an "unleaded" bike? My bike is spluttering and backfiring (more than usual) and also stalling (which is new) since I filled up and I don't recall asking for unleaded and didn't notice what was actually put in.
