Picked this up from news reports coming in:
A guy from Bloem, Shaun Stevenson (27), and his friend from London, Radek Vecera, have not been in contact with family for 15 days now while on a trip from London to South Afrika on their bikes, apparently BMW's. Before sending a last e-mail on Christmas day, the two were in contact with family and friends at least every third day. They were last heard from in the DRC or Cameroon. Their schedule would have put them in Luanda on New Years day.
Hope they make it and are not caught up in the Kenya troubles or worse. Does anybody else know anything? Apparently they posted trip reports on Facebook before going off air.
