I just discovered a very interesting thing.
I had my normal waypoint .gdb file on the pc like I suppose everybody else. The file was 5.6MB big. When I uploaded the file to the 62s the .gpx file was 15.9MB big.
I did not think much of it until about 30 minutes ago.
I wanted to add some detail to a existing waypoint in the comments section. The problem was that I could not add any more detail, the whole comment block was filled with empty spaces and line breaks.
So I went through all my 211 waypoints and edited the comment sections and my file sizes shrunk to 25.7kB for the .gbd file and 120.5 kB for the .gpx file.
You can imagine how many spaces there were to make up such a big file! What could have caused it to happen?
