Maraisburg after the rain

I have not been to Maraisburg a lot and always choose De Wildt over it. So I'd say my weak point in riding is probably the big steep climbs that you find there, not many of them in DW.
Its been raining for almost the whole week and that means the best conditions so it was off to the mine dumps to have some fun.

Lots of water all over still, helps with the poisonous dust.

Its not lekka when you do a 100+m climb and end up 3m short. Remember to jump off the low side closest to the climb!

Another climb ending short, I had to take the right line because the left got suddenly blocked.
Not that it matters, Ox and Owen took the line between the two of us and made it!

You dont know how far that last 2m is till you have to lift your bike up it.
Get the Husky Twin Clowns to help ! 

Its hard to see how steep this actually is...

And then the fall of the day, handlebar hill gets really steep at the top and keeping the front wheel down is a chore.
Combined with being a little moeg and here we have me really losing it in style. Momentary Lapse Of Talent

Very lekker! You can see its waayyy steep, look at the perspective on the flat ground in the background. Would love to try this. Not sure i have the balls though.
