The 2023 season started today with first official testing of the 2023 bikes and the new riders. Bloody hell! Almost 5 months to the next race. But then, 21 race days with two races a weekend. Whoohooo!

MO's fastest time during the race Sunday was 1,31.794. Slowest was 1,32.334. After about six laps today on the Aprilia he did a 1,32.786.
RF's fastest was 1,32.042. Slowest was 1,33.084. After about six laps on Aprilia today, 1,33,083.

Weet nie wat hy tans toets nie, maar hy is maar 0.070 vinniger as MO op die Aprilia.

Raul was rookie last year. Augusto is rookie this year. No family connection.

- MM left early in a huff, after telling the media that they cannot win the championship on this bike.
- Improvement by all, but large improvement by AM.
- 3 Aprilias in top 10.
- 5 Ducatis in top 10. (Only 2 factory Ducatis though)
- 1 KTM and 1 Yamaha in top 10.

Lin Jarvis today, during an interview with Simon Crafar stated that he always knew Darryn Binder would not feature in MotoGP, but they signed him because RNF insisted. If this is the opinion of the big boss, one can only wonder what level of support DB received from Yamaha, who was paying his salary.

The way Razlan sang Raul's praises today, you'd think they were getting married tomorrow.

I heard the interview and my impression was that he was blaming DB for the terrible bike. As you heard he then sang Cal's praises to say that its not only Fabio that can ride the bike fast but that was exactly the case! Scoring points when 5 others DNF'd does not make the bike acceptable with friend Franky point and case.

What a doos! Anyway, hope DB smokes them in Moto2 to prove the doos wrong!
