My KTM 690 rear wheel is generally not optimal for use with a tubeliss, although I do have it in there at the moment. But it keeps deflating. Previously it worked 100%, on the 2 tyres I had used it on and during many trips. But ever since installing a D606 it just does not keep the pressure.

I know the 690's rear wheel is technically too wide for the tubeliss and it is not recommended.

I suspect some minor rim damage is what is now preventing it from holding the air, i.e. causing small slow leaks.

So what's the next best option? A mousse? Or a tube? I'm really (really really) not keen on removing tubes during a trip, although will always take one along for emergencies. I don't do high speeds, generally, so was thinking a mousse will work instead. Are there different types of mousse? For different applications? It's not a MX bike, and I sometimes load it with luggage (in addition to my, uhm, excess weight). Is this too much for a mousse?
