So on the weekend I finally collected my little project near Stellies and she came back home to Grahamstown with me :biggrin:
While she is in great nick for her age there are a few bits needing replacement
The bike seems to start and idle/run nicely although I havent actually ridden it as the gear lever is missing.
I definitely want to restore the bike back to original and pristine which wont be easy being based here away from sandblasting/paint shops etc...I was hoping Danie would take the job on but he has too many projects on his plate right now
I have made contact with a chap called Frans Badenhorst based in Parrow that owns MT Garage that will do the entire restoration although not cheap he seems very professional and has completed many MB/MT restorations....anybody know this operation at all? Seems an attractive option as he has access to parts that are not easily sourced etc
