Thanks for sharing. What soft luggage are you using and can you recommend.?

Flowers I use a set of Enduristan Monsoon 3 bags mounted on std KTM hard luggage frames.  I also have Tornado (L), think 50l that hold two sleeping bags, two matrasses and pillows that I carry on the back.  Most of the time the missus travels with me. Tornado for bedding and kitchen stuff, one Monsoon each for personal kit.
My tent I carry in the orange Peter King bag for additional protection. Before the Tornado, I also used a Peter King bag on many trips for same purpos
I also have an Oxford 'soft top box.'

For off the tar, I suggest stay away from metal boxes.

Ah...thanks for the punt Rex.

NOMAD BIKE BAGS 16litre bag in the stylish orange and black favoured by many...R450.00

Peter below is a pic of my first trip where I used the orange bags. The tent bag has accompanied us on every single trip.

Before leaving Mariental I stopped at Nammeat butchery again to buy more of those yummy Lamb saddle chops for the evening. You have to snack these right off the rooster.

Jy maak nie mooi nie  :drif:

Dankie vir die deel van 'n fantastiese trip.  :thumleft:

There has been even more rain since I came back.  Would have loved to go check again in April.

Maybe I will have time on hand in the next 3 weeks to share some more trip photos of the last 3-4 years.

Enjoyed your report and stunning pics a lot  :thumleft:
