Rundu. Before Rundu, I noticed a farm with the name "Tranedal". The next farm was called "Verraad". In Rundu we first went to a place we had stayed previously. In front of me at the counter stood a guy who made 10 bookings. For the dept. minister of education for Angola. Sorry, no more place. The next one also fully booked. We then drove to the opposite side of Rundu (western side) and found a place with the view above. Very much over priced. But the view was good.

Going for a swim in the Okavango. The locals thought we weren't all up there. Was very hot. The water was so cool and inviting.

Smoking in the Okavango. I saw no signs forbidding smoking there.

Walking across to Angola. The water level was quite low. Was a very dry season.

Geez, what a shock to see the club at Thumeb in such a state.  ???

Had some good (and bad) memories in that club during the 80's.
