Need advise on gps and nav

Yo dogs ,
need advise on navigation ... montana , zumos , etrx ...
where do i start ? Need both on and offroad ... been using my phone ( maps.me , google maps and osmand ) works fine ... but thinking a proper sat nav more durable and easier to use ,
