Obviously this guy set out to go for a record. BUT...
It would break my heart to be able to say I have been all over the world with my bike, but know nothing of (or experienced) the people, cultures, scenery or anything else a trip like this could offer.
This trip might have cost him half the price had he gone slower, but he sure as hell could not have had 2% of the enjoyment and experiences something like this should give if you explore the world by bike. Then again, I suppose if you have plenty of money or sponsors and can just go and do it all over again, it would make sense somehow? I dunno, almost a sin to me... Or is this record a guy thing I just wont understand? :
