Hi all,
New member here from Pretoria,
A little background,
Started riding motorcycles at age 15 and have never stopped since then. Bought my first adv type bike, a 2011 Suzuki V-Strom 650 in September 2022 for the sole purpose of commuting. Started reading up on adventure riding / touring and have been hooked ever since. Did a couple of gravel runs, to Loskop and the Harties Canal routes with a member on here.
My first long tour was last year end October to beginning of November where I toured from Pretoria around the Western Cape and back solo. Did the 7 Passes road, Prince Alfred's pass and Swartberg. Totalling 4640km in 8 days.
